The Usability and Mixed Reality Centre (formerly the Design and Multimedia Centre) was created at ITMO University in 2010. The main purpose of this creative space is the synergy of interdisciplinary educational, research, commercial and other activities.
The staff of the Usability and Mixed Reality Centre are multi-disciplinary specialists and experienced researchers with the above activities.
The core competencies of the Usability and Mixed Reality Centre:
1. Human-machine interaction. Usability testing and user interface design;
2. Virtual, augmented and mixed reality technologies;
3. Motion capture and tracking.
